While we have never seen this Sadaharu Oh medal before, we have seen an example of the Shigeo Nagashima medal from this Tour. The printed "information card" included with the Nagashima medal states that the medal was a "Dodgers Good Will Tour of Japan Souvenir Gift" from Dodgers Owner and President Peter O'Malley. While we do not have the information card for the Oh medal, we do have the medal itself to present to the highest bidder. The obverse of the medal contains an engraved image of Oh's head, while the reverse contains Oh's facsimile signature and the words "Oh player" stamped in Japanese text. This is a rare keepsake from the 1966 National League Champions' Tour of Japan.
