Of all Japanese 500 home run hitters, Kadota's autographs seem to be among the hardest to find. This is possibly because Kadota seems to be the most underappreciated all time great of Japan Pro Baseball. He is third in career homers
(567), third in RBI (1,678) and fourth all time in hits. In 1988, at age 40, he was Pacific League MVP for a fifth place team! Kadota was a nine time all star. Unfortunately, in 1979, his achilles tendon was ruptured, relegating him to DH for
much of the latter portion of his career. We know that Kadota signed this shikishi between the years 1983-1988, because along with his signature, he has written his uniform number 60, which he wore only during those seasons. He also
wrote "Nankai Hawks", his team for most of his career. Autographed in black marker.
Size: 9 1/2" x 10 3/4"
