The "Man with the Blue Bat" was the great rival of HOFer Tetsuharu Kawakami during the late 1940s and early 1950s. Oshita, an outfielder, was named to eight Best 9 teams during his career. He won three batting championships and three home run titles during that span. Diecut mask cards are among the most popular with collectors of Japanese baseball cards. This specimen is in a superb condition, rarely seen among diecut mask cards. There is no wear, and the eye and string holes remain unpunched.

Size: 5" x 7 1/2"

Condition: A high grade card. There is no wear, and the eye and string holes remain unpunched. Overall Nm/Mt.
