This small board game was included as a furoku (supplement) in an August issue of Shonen (Boys) magazine. The year is not specified, but based on the caps worn by the four players pictured in the corners, the player photos were taken in 1949, hence the proposed 1949 date. The four players pictured on the game board are Japan Hall of Famers Fumio Fujimura (upper left), Tetsuharu Kawakami (upper right), Michio Nishizawa (lower left) and Hiroshi Oshita (lower right). This is truly a unique piece. Blank backed.
