The title of this volume roughly translates to "A Pundit's Opinion of the Baseball World". Hamazaki (1901-1981) is listed as the author of the book. Hamazaki's colorful career included participation in the Royal Giants Negro League Tour of Japan, 1934 Babe Ruth U.S. All Star Tour of Japan, Big Six University League baseball, industrial league baseball, Manchurian League baseball and Japan Pro Baseball. He was signed to pitch in Japan Pro Baseball for the first time in 1947 at the age of 45! He went on to record a 5-5 record in 30 games, the last occurring in 1950. By then he was a player-manager, who managed off and on in Japan Pro Baseball through 1963. This first edition softbound book with dust jacket is signed by Hamazaki on the first interior page with a traditional brush pen along with the inscription "gift" in the upper right area.
