At this point, it is thought that either 80 or 120 different players appeared in the rare JF 26 set. Normally, all of the Yomiuri Giants player cards feature player headshot images on a predominantly yellow background. However, at least four players in the set also appeared in a red background "jackpot" version. We know that all the cards were part of a redemption program, so presumably, the jackpot cards were rare bonuses that aided the collector in reaching his goal much more promptly. In any case, the Jackpot cards are exceedingly rare. In fact, this is one of only three examples of the Shigeo Nagashima (HOF) jackpot card known to the hobby. As such, it would be an important element of any Shigeo Nagashima type collection.
