Of all the players in this grouping, the one who was easily the most successful in Japan Pro Baseball is Alex Ramirez. After spending three years in MLB with the Indians and Pirates, Ramirez set sail for Japan in 2001. By the time his Japan Pro Baseball career ended in 2013, he had become the first North American player in Japan to amass over 2,000 hits, earning him enshrinement in the Golden Players Club (Meikyukai). Other notables with cards in the lot are Johnny Ray, Trey Hillman, Hensley Meulens, Phil Clark, etc., etc.
