This is only the second time that we have ever been able to offer an autographed baseball of this most unusual player. Enatsu once struck out 401 batters in a 130 game season. He won 206 games and saved 193 more, which would normally qualify him automatically for membership in the Golden Players Club (Meikyukai). But Enatsu was as troubled off the field as he was great on the mound. He slept during team practices, smoked over 100 cigarettes per day, associated with gangsters, and had drug abuse problems. As a result, his autograph is more difficult to obtain than those of many former Japanese stars. This signed ball was part of an official signing under the auspices the All Japan Baseball Foundation. It is serial numbered 8 of 32 and comes with a certificate of authenticity from the Foundation.
Size: Regular baseball size
Condition: The ball is Mint. The signature grades 10 out of 10.
