This ticket was for the 14th of 19 games played between the Brooklyn Dodgers and Japanese opposition following the 1956 season. During this series, Jackie Robinson made a fond farewell to baseball as an active player. The game was scheduled for November 6, 1956 between the Brooklyn Dodgers and the All Japan team at Chunichi Stadium. 25,000 fans turned out to see the Dodgers prevail by a score of 3-2 behind the pitching of Roger Craig. Interestingly, the game was actually played on November 7th, after being rained out on the 6th. Japan Hall of Fame members Kazuhisa Inao and Takao Kajimoto both pitched in this game and held the mighty Dodgers scoreless during their appearances. The Dodgers went on to finish the Tour with a record of 14-4-1.
