Only two examples of this rare Nishizawa card are known to exist. Michio Nishizawa made his Japan Pro Baseball debut as a pitcher in 1937 at the age of only 16! In 1940, at the age of 19, he went 20-9 with a 1.92 ERA. He pitched a no hitter in 1942. After the end of World War II, he switched to the outfield, where he became an even bigger star until his retirement after the 1958 season. A five time all-star, Nishizawa was inducted into the Japan Baseball Hall of Fame in 1977.

Cards from this set have rarely been seen, since many were redeemed for prizes. The front contains Nishizawa's league and team, surname and position, and an explanation as to what the card is, all printed in green Japanese text on three lines below a green tint image of Nishizawa. The back contains a list of prizes which can be redeemed if enough cards are collected from the set. The coupon originally found at the bottom of the card has been removed. This card is truly a rare specimen.
