In 1907, Hawaii St. Louis "College" (really a prep school) became the first American baseball team to tour Japan. In 1916, they returned for a 12 game series against Keio,
Waseda and Meiji Universities, winning seven and losing five. The names of the St. Louis players and the results of each game were carefully printed in red ink on an
official Public School League baseball produced by Yamamoto & Co. Interestingly, only the scores for the first 11 games are printed on the ball. Game 11 was played on
November 6th. Game 12 was played on November 8th. So we presume that the ball may have been presented on November 7th.
Size: Regular baseball size
