In 1925, Yamashita hit the first home run ever in the National High School Baseball Championships at Koshien. From 1927 to 1930, Yamashita starred at Keio U., participating on four Big Six League championship clubs. His six career homers was a record at that time. No wonder he was known as "Babe" Yamashita! This card has menko number 814 on the back.
