Lot Description  

Minoru Murayama (HOF) (d. 1998) (Man of Flames) signed this shikishi in magic marker along with other notables such as Yutaka Enatsu (Golden Player eligible), the troubled but supremely talented left handed pitcher, and Taira Fujita (Golden Player), the premier shortstop of his day. Future HOFer Koichi Tabuchi signed as well, along with Tigers stalwarts Kingo Motoyashiki (coach), Goro Toi and Minoru Kamata. The other signees are unidentified. The 1970 Tigers finished second in the Central League, only two games behind the Yomiuri Giants who, at the time, were in the midst of nine consecutive Japan Series Championships.

Condition: Shikishi - Near Mint. Signatures - 8.5 of 10.
