Lot Description  

In 1961, Sadaharu Oh struggled at the plate, batting only .253 with 13 home runs. However, Oh's early struggles led to his future success. Before the 1962 season, Hiroshi Arakawa helped him develop his famed flamingo batting stance. The rest is history. In 1962 Oh batted .305 with 40 homers, beginning was to become two decades of batting dominance.

Condition: Ex to Ex/Mt. Handcut from an uncut prize sheet many years ago.
