Lot Description  

Nichiedo Seika is the earliest Japanese baseball card set featuring actual player images for which a date of issue has been definitively established, making the set a truly groundbreaking one. Inogawa was a star catcher for Meiji University of the Tokyo University Big Six League during the late 1920s and early 1930s. The pristine condition of this example would make it an outstanding type card.
