The English version of this book was originally published in 1970 and 1971 by Ted Williams and John Underwood. This first edition Japanese version was published by Baseball Magazine Co. in 1978.
It includes numerous charts, sketches and photos related to Ted Williams' hitting style. Batting photos of other superstars like Babe Ruth, Stan Musial, Joe DiMaggio, Ty Cobb, Roberto Clemente and others are included.
