In 1950, Japan Pro Baseball separated into two leagues, Central and Pacific. In that year, the Japan Series, matching the pennant winning team of each league in a best of seven games format, was begun. This is the equivalent of the "World Series" in the US. The first season matched the Robins led by Makoto Kozuru (HOF) (l) and the Orions, led by Kaoru Betto (HOF) (r). The expansion Orions prevailed in six games and Betto was named series MVP. This program, printed in Japanese, contains photos and thumbnail bios of all players on both teams, a scorecard, and other information regarding this classic encounter.

Size: 7 1/8" x 10 3/16". 34 pages.

Condition: Overall Vg w/ cover wear.
