This baseball was available in very small numbers to the public. It is the same ball used during the 2005 Nippon Series games played at Chiba Marine Stadium, home of the Chiba Lotte Marines. The Marines, managed by Bobby Valentine, defeated the Hanshin Tigers in four straight games to capture their first Japan Series title in 31 years. The ball comes with the original foil wrapping and box as shown in the scan.
