Kaoru Betto is seen on this card that may either be a photo or an actual bromide baseball card. We do not know for sure. Betto is seen wearing an Osaka Tigers uniform used only in 1948 and 1949. By 1950, Betto was no longer a Tiger, but was playing for the Mainichi Orions. The autograph is contemporary to the card. It was definitely not signed years later. Betto has written his name in blue fountain pen. This is only the second contemporary autographed photo of Betto that we have ever offered.
