Known affectionately as Mr. Tigers, Fumio Fujimura was Central League MVP in 1949. He was elected to six consecutive Best 9 teams and led the league in homers twice. In 1950, Fujimura batted .362 with 39 homers, 146 RBI and 100 walks over a 140 game season! That season, his OBP was .465, and his OPS was a stratospheric 1.139!
