Japan's greatest hurler ever is seen here in one of his earlier appearances on a card. This interestingly designed card was a display sheet premium card, which was awarded to the holder of a 1952 JBR 28 Yamakatsu bromide card with a third prize winner manufacturer's stamp on the back. The card was produced in bookmark style including a tassel.

Condition: The card contains a small area of glue and extra paper from having been mounted by the manufacturer on a prize sheet. All JBR 26 prize cards exhibit this characteristic. Overall Vg/Ex.
