We are fairly certain that the manufacturer of the set offered in this lot is the same unknown entity that produced the 1949 JGA 209 Position & Points game. The cards are extremely similar in design. The main difference is that in this set, the player's team name does not appear on the card. This is the first time we have seen cards from this set!

The lot consists of the complete set of 32 player cards, an additional card with the inscription "player card game", and the small box in which the game was originally sold. Fourteen Japan Hall of Fame Members appear in the set: Tetsuharu Kawakami, Hiroshi Oshita, Juzo Sanada, Jiro Noguchi, Tokuji Iida, Noboru Aota, Michio Nishizawa, Hisanori Karita, Shigeru Chiba, Kazuto Tsuruoka, Fumio Fujimura, Shosei Go (Taiwan) and Michinori Tsubouchi. Also, Fujio Ueda (Hawaii) and Isamu Fujii who in 1936 hit the first home run in Japan Pro Baseball history.
