During our 37 years of dealing with Japanese baseball cards, we have seen hundreds of color bromide card sets. This card is from one of very few color sets in which the cards contain absolutely no printed information! We know that this card is a premium (probably 2nd prize) that was originally mounted on an unknown display sheet by the manufacturer. We have no idea as to which base set is associated with this premium. The uniform that Shigeru Chiba is wearing is a type worn by the Yomiuri Giants between 1947 and 1950. Otherwise, we know nothing else about the card, except that the winner will have the only known example in existence!

Condition: Vg/Ex. The blank back contains a spot of extra paper and glue near top center where the card was originally mounted on a product display sheet. All examples of this card will have the same type of extra paper and glue on the reverse side.
