This is the first Type 1 photograph of Victor Starffin that we have ever had the opportunity to offer! Starffin appears to be warming up before going into a game. We know that the photo was taken in either 1949 or 1950 because Starffin is wearing a uniform used by the Stars only in those two seasons. 1949 was Starffin's last great season. He went 27-17 with a 2.61 ERA. 1950 was the year that began Starffin's slide into retirement. This photo is a great item for a Victor Starffin collector.
