While, over the years, we have offered numerous tickets to the 1956 Brooklyn Dodgers Tour of Japan, we have never before seen this exact type of ticket. Most all 1956 Dodgers Tour tickets have an action image in the center. However, this is the first we have seen where one of the players involved is clearly Jackie Robinson. Moreover, we have never before been able to offer an attached pair of tickets to a 1956 Tour game.

We are offering two infield ticket stubs for the game of 10/21/56 at Korakuen Stadium. A crowd of 45,000 watched the All Japan team vanquish the Dodgers by a score of 6 to 1. Don Newcombe gave up four runs in the first inning and took the loss. Future Japan Hall of Famers Yasumitsu Toyoda and Futoshi Nakanishi homered for All Japan.
