It’s really difficult to find high grade JF 27a Nippon Ham cards. The bright yellow strip across the bottom almost always shows wear at the corners. That is probably why very few JF 27a cards have ever been authenticated and graded by PSA. The set consists of at least 397 cards. However, only 180 cards total from the set have ever been submitted to PSA. Six examples of this card have been submitted to PSA, with only one graded higher.

1976 was Isao Harimoto's first year with the Yomiuri Giants after spending 17 years with the Nippon Ham Fighters. He's the only Japanese player to have over 500 home runs and 3,000 hits. He is teamed on this card with world all time home run leader, Sadaharu Oh. Both players were already 36 years old at the time, but they proved to be a two man wrecking crew in 1976. Oh blasted 49 homers and had an OPS of 1.213. Harimoto batted .355 with 22 home runs and a .988 OPS. The Giants easily captured the Central League title.
