Produced by the Doeisha Co., this is the eight card uncut sheet #4 of presumably a series that features images of famous people. Each person's name is printed several times on his card. The images all have some resemblance to the person depicted, but some are better likenesses than others.

The key card in the set is that of Joe DiMaggio (second row, second column). Players are as follows: (left hand column, top to bottom) Hideo Fujimoto (HOF), Katsumi Shiraishi (HOF), Tetsuharu Kawakami (HOF), Giichiro Shiraki, (right hand column, top to bottom) Hachiro (possibly a comedian), Joe DiMaggio, Noboru Aota (HOF), Lefty O'Doul (HOF). Japanese Baseball Cards Checklist & Price Guide, Vintage Edition 3.0 has assigned a scarcity factor of R4 to this set, meaning that between six and ten copies of each card are known.

This set is offered here in uncut sheet form. Each card can be removed from the sheet and further divided into three equal pieces along perforation marks.  We presume that the sheet was used to play some type of game in which the cards were each separated into three pieces, put in a pile, and then each card was reassembled.  However, we are merely guessing.

Blank back sheet.

Size: Each card is 2 1/2" x 2 3/8". The uncut sheet is approximately 5" x 10 1/4".
