This is a rarely seen, two piece box that originally held the same type of baseball used during the 1934 All-Star Tour of Japan featuring Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. "Official American Ball - University League" is printed on the sweet spot of the baseball image that appears on the box. The box is made of waxed cardboard and contains embossed Tamazawa logos on the lid-top and box-bottom. The box for this type of baseball is rarely seen.
