Autographed photos of vintage Japanese players are quite difficult to find. Over the years, we have offered numerous items autographed by Shigeo Nagashima. However, this is the first time that we have ever offered an single signed photo of Mr. Giants. Here, he is seen swinging, with all-time great Hall of Famer Katsuya Nomura catching. The two played in separate leagues, so this photo must have been taken during an all-star game or Japan Series. We are guessing that the photo may be a scene from the 1973 Japan Series.

On the back of the unsigned photo, the name and address of Brother Musical Instruments Co. has been stamped in blue ink. The autographed photo has a stamp from a store or business called RIO on the back.
