JBR 5 consists of 60 baseball cards and numerous actor/actress cards. The cards were generally purchased in hanging bundles (tabas) as 2 in 1 cards. Here we have an uncut sheet of 32 cards. By far the most important card on the sheet is in the second row, third column. It's the JBR 5 Sadaharu Oh rookie card!

The Oh card's location away from the edges of the sheet has allowed it to remain in nearly pristine condition even though 65 years that have passed since it was printed. Other baseball players to be found on the sheet include Japan HOFers Masaichi Kaneda, Kazuhisa Inao and Masaaki Koyama, plus American Joe Stanka. The non-baseball cards feature entertainers.

Size: Each card is 1 3/8" x 2 1/8".

Condition: The Stanka card is warped. Most others would be Nm or better if cut neatly from the sheet including the Oh card.
