This lot consists of three unused pencils, with each pencil containing images of Joe DiMaggio, Dom DiMaggio and Lefty O’Doul.  Additionally, there are American and Japanese flags within a baseball glove, and the text, “Japan-U.S. friendly baseball commemoration”.  Other text at the bottom proclaims, “Proudly made by the Shonan Department Store.”  The pencils were produced for the 1951 U.S. All Star Tour of Japan.  This item is a rare and unusual keepsake related to the DiMaggio Brothers' joint visit to the Land of the Rising Sun.

Size:  Each pencil is 7” in length.

Condition:  Unused but with aging and minor damage related to 70 years in storage.
