Seven members of the 1950 Central League Champion Shochiku Robins signed this bromide baseball card in blue ink.  The players are: (top row, left to right) Torao Ooka, Makoto Kozuru (HOF), Kenji Hirano, Isao Mimura (bottom row, left to right) Yoshiyuki Iwamoto (HOF) , Tokuro Konishi (HOF) (Mgr.), Jiro Kanayama.

In 1950, Makoto Kozuru had one of the greatest seasons in the history of Japan Pro Baseball, smashing 51 homers, driving in 161 runs and batting .355—all in only 130 games!  Yoshiyuki Iwamoto hit .319 with 39 homers and 127 RBIs at the age of 38.  Tokuro Konishi managed the team to the Pacific League pennant.
