In 1958, Shonen Magazine included baseball player stamps in several issues of the magazine. One issue included stamps depicting Mr. Giants, Shigeo Nagashima. There are two versions of this stamp. One version, which we offered in 2009, is printed in black ink. The stamp offered here is printed in green ink. The top line of Japanese text on the stamp is "Central League 1958". The next line states "Home Run King", just to the right of the Shonen Magazine logo. Nagashima's name is printed vertically along the left side of the stamp, with his uniform number "3" at lower right. This hard-to-find stamp would be at home in any Shigeo Nagashima collection.

Condition: The stamp has been removed from the magazine in excellent fashion, with all perforations in good order. The condition is outstanding, other than a bit of orange discoloration at the edge of the top border.
