Hall of Famer Frankie Frisch joined Lou Gehrig, Lefty Grove and other Hall of Famers on a team of all stars who toured Japan in 1931. This very rare card (only four examples known) features Frisch, a member of the St. Louis Cardinals at the time, in his U.S. All Stars uniform. The Japanese text reads, "Second Base--U.S. Japan All Star Match--Frisch".

Frisch was the leading hitter on the Tour, batting a resounding .404, besting Gehrig and Al Simmons among others. The Americans had a record of 17-0 on the Tour facing various top Japanese opposition.

Blank backed card.
