The Movie, Story of Big 1, Sadaharu Oh was rush released in 1977 immediately after Oh broke Hank Aaron's career home run record. Directed by Yoshishige Yoshida, a well known Japanese film director, the film starred both Oh and his manager, HOFer Tetsuharu Kawakami.

Various paraphernalia were created in conjunction with the film, including the thermos offered here. The thermos is unused and still has the original product tags attached. Oh's bold facsimile autograph is seen on the outside of the thermos, along with the movie's logo. This is the first Big 1 thermos that we have ever encountered.
