This set is offered in its original box, with the cards still in the original cigar band type wrappers. The set includes both named player and generic cards. There are 20 named players in the set, 13 of whom are Japan Hall of Fame members. The HOFers are: Victor Starffin (seen in the lot photo at lower right), Kazuto Tsuruoka, Hiroshi Oshita, Hiroshi Nakao, Makoto Kozuru, Sadayoshi Fujimoto, Hideo Fujimoto, Shigeru Chiba, Michio Nishizawa, Tetsuharu Kawakami, Tokuji Iida, Kaoru Betto and Noboru Aota.
This is the first time that we have had the opportunity to offer the JK 33 set. The set carries a designation of R5 in the Japanese Baseball Card Checklist & Price Guide, Vintage Edition 2.1 by Gary Engel, meaning that five or fewer copies are known of each card. Therefore, the winning bidder will be one of the few individuals to own a copy of this set.

Size: Each card is 1 11/16" x 2 5/16". The box is about 3 1/2" x 5".
Condition: Cards are all unused and still in their cigar band holders. Most should be Nm/Mt and Mint when removed from the box. The box is Ex.
