Since the players and their teams in this set are consistent with either of the years 1960 or 1961, we are not certain as to whether '60 or '61 is the year of issue. All uniforms depicted are from either the 1959 or 1960 season, which might lead to a guess of 1960. However, there is another Maruten set that was definitely printed in 1960, which might indicate a 1961 issue date.

In any case, this is an early Sadaharu Oh menko card, with an attractive waist up portrait of Oh wearing his 1960 Yomiuri Giants uniform. In 1960, Oh was still a young player finding his way. While his 1960 season in which he had 17 homers, 71 RBI and batted .270 was an improvement over his rookie year, it was not exactly a harbinger of what was to come for the future world home run king.
