This is a Type 1 card since it contains the Marukami logo on the back. Type 2 cards do not have this logo. A very young Sadaharu Oh is squatting in front of second year Giants pitcher Toshihiro Komatsu. While Oh became baseball's greatest slugger, Komatsu faded quickly, leaving Japan Pro Baseball after winning only one game in his career.
