Uncut sheets from the JCM 57a set are truly rare. The key cards found on this sheet include Hall of Famers Yasumitsu Toyoda (top row right), Minoru Murayama (second row left), Kazuhisa Inao (second row center), Yoshio Yoshida (third row center) and Masaaki Koyama (bottom row center). Also, American Mike Solomko (top row left). In 1961, the year that JCM 57a was issued, Kazuhisa Inao won 42 games and struck out 353 batters while compiling an ERA of 1.69! Minoru Murayama finished with a "more pedestrian" 24-13, 2.27 record for the year. Kazuhiko Kondo (second row right) batted .316 with 35 stolen bases. Takeshi Kuwata (third row right) led the Central League in RBIs.
Size: The uncut sheet is 9" x 12". Each card is 1 13/16" x 3".
Condition: The sheet is Vg/Ex to Ex with a thin right border and is curved at the left and right edges. However, all of the Hall of Famer cards with the exception of Toyoda would be Nm/Mt or Mint if cut from the sheet.
