According to the Japanese Baseball Card Checklist & Price Guide Vintage Edition 2.1, this Sadaharu Oh card appears in two versions within the JCM 12d set. Both versions have identical fronts. The difference is on the reverse, which can have a menko number of either #501000 or #900501. This card and the Oh card of the uncut pair found in Lot 5 of this auction are the first examples of the #501000 Oh card that we have ever offered at auction. Interestingly, this example and the two copies of the #900501 version which we have offered before in earlier auctions are all printed off center top to bottom on the front in the exact same way.

While the back of the #900501 cards have a paper-scissors-rock game symbol of rock, and the Japanese text "sanshin" (strikeout), the #501000 card has the scissors symbol and the Japanese text of "safe". In any case, this is quite a scarce card of the world's greatest slugger.

Size: 1 13/16" x 3"

Condition: Vg/Ex, o/c top to bottom.  Most examples of this card known to date exhibit this same off-centering.
