Tomoharu Kai was a Hawaiian member of the Kintetsu Pearls who played only two seasons in Japan. There were only a few different cards of Kai issued, and all are extremely popular. Kai hit a whopping .327 during his rookie season of
1952, but tailed off in 1953, leaving Japan Pro Baseball behind.
