In all our years of searching for Japanese baseball cards, this is one of only two types of uncut sheets of 1940s rectangular menko we have seen (except for sets that were issued to the public in uncut sheet form). Japan Hall of Famers depicted include
Tetsuharu Kawakami (God of Batting), Katsumi Shiraishi, Fumio Fujimura (Mr. Tigers), Kaoru Betto (Gentleman of Baseball) and Shigeru Chiba. Others are Monzen - Stars, Tsuchiya - Hawks, Kizuka - Hawks, Yuki - Hawks, Hayashi -
Robins, Doigaki - Tigers and Tsukamoto - Braves.
Size: Each card is 1 3/16" x 2 7/8". The sheet is about 5" x 9".
Condition: The sheet is Ex/Mt with adequate borders on all sides except for the bottom. Most cards, if cut from the sheet, would be Nm or better.
