Sadaharu Oh and Shigeo Nagashima, the greatest hitting duo in the history of Japan Pro Baseball, are pictured on the cover of this shirt box, along with their facsimile autographs. The box still contains the white dress shirt for a 10 to 11 year old boy that was originally packed inside. The shirt is unused and still in its original plastic wrapping with all the original tags attached.  Produced by the Nisshinbo Seki Co., the shirt is made of a cotton/rayon type blend. The tag inside the collar features a colorful Giants pennant logo. An attractive oval shaped original tag featuring Oh and Nagashima is still attached to the shirt.

Additionally, the shirt was sold with a shitajiki included inside the box. A shitajiki is a large sheet of plastic which is placed between a student's writing paper and his/her school desk to prevent the scratching of the desk while writing. This shitajiki contains the image and facsimile autographs of the box cover, but with a blue background instead of white. While we have seen a number of these shirt boxes in the past, this is only the second one we have offered in the past 32 years that contains the shitajiki as well.

Size: The box is 8 1/4" x 11" x 2 1/8". The shirt is designed to be worn by a 10 to 11 year old boy. The shitajiki is 7 1/2" x 10".

Condition: The shirt is Mint and unused. The box is Ex. The shitajiki is unused, but there is a printing defect which is quite apparent on the blank back, which looks like a diagonal band.
