Here's a great team photo aboard the ship that took the 1922 U.S. All Star Team to Japan. The big question is, "Why are they wearing their uniforms on a ship?" Perhaps they were scheduled to play their next game without having time to
dress on shore. Stengel, Pennock, Hoyt, Kelly and other MLB stars of the era are all identified in ink on the back, which greatly aids our enjoyment of the photo. This is a great memento of a historic baseball event which occurred 98 years
ago. And it's very high grade.
