This is another first prize winner card which was originally on the same display sheet as the previous lot. All five members of the Yomiuri Giants starting rotation of 1949 are depicted. Every one of these men was an outstanding pitcher who helped lead the Giants to the league title by a whopping margin of 16 games in only 134 games played! Included on this card are from left to right with 1949 records: Hiroshi Nakao (HOF) 13-10, 3.64, Hideo Fujimoto (HOF) 24-7, 1.94, Takehiko Bessho (HOF) 14-9, 2.35, Tokuji Kawasaki 19-9, 3.90 and Fukuzo Tada 14-9, 3.34.
