Nihei was a third baseman during the 1934 and 1935 seasons. The key autograph on this baseball is that of Japan Hall of Fame pitcher, Masao Yoshida. After leading his team to three consecutive National High School Baseball Tournament (Koshien) Championships, he went on to dominate Tokyo Big Six University baseball, leading his team to four consecutive pennants.
