Presented here is the only known example of a baseball card manufactured by the Saida Confectionary Co. of Nagoya. From the prize redemption list printed in Japanese on the back, we know that there are quite a number of cards in the
set, including cards of Sadaharu Oh, Shigeo Nagashima and Masaichi Kaneda. The problem is that none of these cards have ever been discovered! Nor have any other cards from the set ever been found, save for this one solitary
example. It features Dragons Hall of Fame member and Golden Player, Shinichi Eto. The card contains Eto's name, uniform number, image and his designation as an all star. Eto was an 11 time all star and three time league batting
champion. In fact, he is the only 20th century Japanese player to be a batting champion of both leagues.
Size: 1 3/16" x 1 9/16"
Condition: Fair to Good because of staining from product included with the card, a pencil mark, corner wear and diamond cut.
