This lot contains cards of four outstanding Hall of Fame members: Hiroshi Oshita (upper left) won three batting titles, was selected to seven Best 9 teams and was 1954 Pacific League MVP. Kazuhisa "Iron Arm" Inao (upper right) won 42 games in one season, won two MVP awards, and had a lifetime ERA of 1.98. Kenjiro Tamiya (lower left) was a seven time all-star and five time Best 9 selection. Yoshio Yoshida (lower right) was the best defensive
shortstop of his generation and was named to nine Best 9 teams. All in all, this is an impressive group of players. From the text on the card backs, we see that the Oshita, Tamiya and Yoshida cards are Type 2 cards, while the Inao is a
Type 3.
