The 1952 JGA 38 Osato Gangu Color Cards are orders of magnitude scarcer than the 1951 black & white issue. Only three copies are known of this card of Japan Hall of Famer Tokuji Iida, and this is the finest example of the three. Tokuji
Iida was a top first baseman during his 17 year career in Japan Pro Baseball with the Hawks and Swallows (1947-1963). He earned the 1955 Pacific League MVP award, and had a consecutive appearances streak of 1,208 games.
