Lopat is in mid-windup on this dramatic large size poster. The Japanese text at right states: World's Strongest, All American All Star Team. The text at bottom indicates that the Tour was sponsored by the Mainichi Shimbun (newspaper). The light blue box refers to 12 games to be played at the end of October. These contests began on 10/23, with the final game on 11/4. The Americans were victorious in all but the first contest. MLB luminaries such as Ed Lopat, Yogi Berra, Enos Slaughter, Ed Mathews, Billy Martin, Nellie Fox, Bob Lemon and Robin Roberts all played on this Tour. Hank Sauer homered a whopping 12 times!

Size: 31" x 43"

Condition: There is a small piece missing from the upper left border. Also, several pinholes in the borders. A few areas of discoloration along folds. Extra paper and glue residue from a piece of paper that was pasted at one time over the light blue box. Overall, a striking piece.
